They just completely redid (modernized the exterior) the strip mall, and all businesses in it are new in the last couple years. Wouldn’t count on it.

They’re building on top of it. Only excavating a small area in the nw corner to expand the parkade and put tower 1 on top of that.

I'm more and more puzzled at how they're going to make this site work with the existing parkade... I used to work in the building so I'm trying to put it back together in my head.

It would have been difficult to remove the parkade and I'm sure they have a plan, but what do you do with the old loading dock in the SW corner? How do you incorporate the fact that the floor is a metre above the sidewalk? It is hard to tell from that angle but if they kept the elevator shafts going into the parkade, you'll need to incorporate those. The existing conversion also connected to the parkade via a corridor, has that been maintained?

This one will be interesting to watch.
