Calgary International Airport

All on the west end of Europe. Can they reach these from Toronto with the Max? Their new config with 29 inch pitch... for transatlantic đź«
The Cardiff and Glasgow routes are reachable. Not sure about the rest. But I think Max8 is their only choice for all these routes, if it’s not reachable from Toronto, then Halifax it is.

The "leak" on Westjet's website a few days ago showed Cardiff/Ponta Delgada from Toronto, and Copenhagen/Madrid/Lisbon from Halifax. Glasgow was from Edmonton and Winnipeg surprisingly, not YYZ/YHZ.
Have to wait and see what the official announcement tomorrow shows.

There's 2 other destinations in Latin America, both from YYZ. Seems many blogs may have missed those on the map before it got taken down.

GLA showed YYC/YEG/YWG
Even KEF showed YWG/YEG

I think that map showed some connections too, as it also listed YVR-FCO/BCN/DUB and YYZ-NRT.

Can 737Max make it that far? Or is there some slack 789’s in the winter months?
Not from YYC. Particularly with BOG’s elevation. Would need to be a 787z

CTG is more likely, as it can be done with MAX. But there is slack in the winter to use the 787 for BOG or CTG.
