It's like the 1990s suburbs but walkable, multi-family style!
Reminds me a bit of contemporary German suburb, lots of same-ness but walkable and multifamily.

Anyone here familiar with the trees being brought down on 77 St right now and who the developer is? Opposite of Arcola units? Nothing on the Calgary development map, no sign, nothing. Didn't even warn residents of the work on the street apparently to facilitate the homes going up where they're clearing.

An article on Aspen Village's sales launch by Vesta, with a few other details on the project within. They are trying to land a smaller (15,000 ft2) grocer as an anchor retail tenant. The article also says sales for Broadway on 17th launch in October.

Concrete foundations have been poured in the last couple days for Vesta's first phase. Truman still driving piles across their entire lot, looks like they're going to at least do the entire underground of all four buildings.

Has anyone done even an estimated unit count for this area? Assuming similar density to Vesta across the neighbourhood, this could become one of the densest census tracts in the country.

Such a huge downgrade, I wonder if there's any way, or if it would be wise anyway, for CPC to nudge the developer toward the previous plan.
