I guess that marks the 5th conversion completed by the incentive program then! Strange that the local news hasn't mentioned it.

I'm not sure if I prefer this one or the loft more, but the minimalist approach to both of them was effective I think.
 
Was looking at a floor plan, do they not require bedrooms to have windows? I thought to call something a bedroom it needs a window or sliding glass doors, or else its a den. But this looks like two bedrooms with no windows and regular doors.

EDIT: just looked into this. Apparently, if the units are sprinklered, which this probably is since it used to be an office building, there is no requirement for egress windows. That would probably help a lot of conversions work because they have more flexibility in layout
 
Personally, I see no issue with a windowless bedroom. Means dark, quiet sleeps. I assume this building has AC too so no need for air movement. Maybe a window could be used for emergency egress, but then what would be the plan be, to scale the building?

I agree with this. As beautiful as bedroom windows can be, I really prefer to stay in as dark a place as possible for sleep, especially as a shift worker.

The unit just needs to be big enough that the bedroom is only a bedroom. As units get smaller and smaller, often the "bedroom" also doubles as an office, or gym room because there's not enough space. Working 8 hours in a windowless room is a bit depressing
