Stampede Station | 270m | 69s | Truman | NORR

I’m only going by Truman’s press release. Maybe they meant floor count, generally taller means height. And if that’s the case, then we could easily be looking at somewhere around 900 feet.
They should just bump it up a few metres so it reaches 300 metres. Get ourselves a super tall!

We made it to SSP! Shoutout @Koops65

What is Truman's tallest building to date? maybe like 8 floors? now they are doing a "near supertall", just seems like a massive step that could bury a company if something goes wrong...
Yeah they really are stepping up to the big leagues. Which is great honestly. Let's hope they continue and eventually do build a supertall in Calgary!

At this point they do seem like the contenders for the first. Probably won’t be this project, but I could see them trying to push for that next decade.

This project definitely sets the precedent that residential/mixed-use towers can be built to this height. Before this the tallest residential tower had what, 42 storeys? I guess vesta was planning for 47 storeys on their project (which now looks tiny compared to this haha).

Yeah I am really excited for Vesta too and was thinking wow Calgary is finally getting close to a 50 story residential tower. Now that benchmark is getting blown out of the water.

This project is great. Going to be a game changer for the city in the long term.

What is even crazier is that Truman self-build all of their projects. They don't sub it out to a high-rise builder like ITC. From building single family homes a decade ago (which they still build today) to the tallest building in Western Canada.

Seems like a good progression for them after Imperia and Lincoln, both under development in the Beltline as we speak.

It's an interesting model. They're taking on a lot of risk by bringing many of the contractors in house. Makes it cheaper to build and easy to move from one to the next, but if there's a downturn, that's a lot of expenses to be carrying.
