I like it. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the huge setback and all the grass. I'm guessing it might be due to the city's setback for that street.

I don't mind the setback, I like grass and trees! 13th - 15th Aves in the Beltline are some of my favourite streets because of how green they can be.

I'm fine with the setback on the avenue side. I wish 5th had less setback space and had cycle lanes instead

I think the set back is to keep the fairly large trees well established there:

I'm really torn with this one. I really like the development that is being proposed but the buildings it's replacing breaks my heart. The trees and the homes have so much character where they're going to demo but it is what it is I guess.

Me too. It's a shame some of our good new developments are replacing older character housing rather than empty lots.

Personally don't subscribe to not liking this because there are houses here that have character versus other places that are parking lots. At least these are not being turned into a parking lot. Happy to see density along fifth.
