The Hat Elbow River | 177.99m | 56s | Cidex Group | NORR

While I would still prefer no above ground parking there are ways to make it look fairly nice, this example is from New Westminster: https://vancouver.skyrisecities.com...za-88-114m-40-fl-starlight.26974/post-1536019

Yes. No one does it better than Miami where above ground parkades are the norm and they actually add to the quality of the building. Just think of it as a blank canvas and use your imagination. These buildings even win awards

Kinda reminds me of the SAIT Parkade.

It's not that it can't be done well, but levels 2-6 facing the elbow river and a block south of 17th ave can't be put to better use than a parkade? Seems like a waste.

Not sure if anyone caught this before, but NORR's website says it's targeted date is 2030 😂 might be a typo, but here's hoping the design improves by then!

It may be because they expect it will be 2029 before Cidex finishes up West Village. Should be another 8 years to get those mismatched panels of the WV crown taken care of.

Either that or Cidex has run spandrel manufacturers into a decade long back order.
