First thing that enters my mind (post 1988) when I hear the word Argyle: Hope this project doesn't end up like Nakatomi Plaza 🤞

I missed seeing the falling glass as I was at lunch but I did see the emergency workers 'taping' it up afterwards from my office window. Earlier in the year a window broke across the street in the Chevron building.

Why bother having such a tiny patio enough for only 8 people, 2 tables. You might be able to push it to 4 tables total, but that'll be crowded. you're going to have to get on a waitlist that's probably 2 years at the moment:rolleyes:

These photos during the Stampede must have been taken earlier in the day because when I was down there a few times (in the evenings) there was never that much space between people🤣

I think it may be The Dorian's opening day today, I seen about 100 people milling about the front of it not that long ago.:cool:

Call me ill informed but why would Suncor be getting a new building when they have the "Petro-Canada Buildings"?

the weather on parade day was great, it would have been nicer if we were able to sit on the Dorian's patio to watch it (it would have been a little early for wobbly pops though)

That's alot of civil work for a bucket, and it's not even level. 🤪🤣

The bus trap at the north end of Centre Street also has a gate beside it, but more often than not the gate seems to be broken down and is stuck in the raised position.:mad:
