This is something I’ve always wondered about. I know quite a few immigrants who originally started in Winnipeg, or other cities but moved here and wondered if those numbers were tracked.

This is awesome to see another highrise ready to go up. That part of the Beltline is going to be one hell of a busy place.

While we are on the topic of Bridgeland construction, a large corner lot has been cleared, for what I presume is a new build. The two houses in this pic are now gone and there's construction fencing and equipment.

It's hard to predict something so far off, but I feel those numbers are realistic. If you had asked me 20 years ago, I would have predicted Calgary and Edmonton to be about the same population, or Edmonton having a higher population due to a predicted decline in the oil and gas industry. Things...

I couldn't care less about the colors or the design TBH. My only gripe is the frosted glass wall facing onto 12th. I understand why they're doing it, but the other residential towers along 12th don't have that.

I was thinking the small house in front was kind of needless and they should gone with only the new portion, but the more I look at this, the more I like the house being part of it. It fits more into 34th's personality, which is quite a bit different than 33rd's.

I didn't choose downtown tower because any number of firms can do that easier and for less money, unless someone wanted to another fancy mixed use Telus Sky type deal, but I don't see that happening right now. There's no demand for office space, and limited demand on high end residential. I...
