    It’s been a rough area over the years, but it’s been improving. It might only be my perception, but it already feels busier than it used to be. Once Beltline block, the Galloway, and the TransAlta building conversion are done, we’re looking at another thousand residents added.

    Personally I'd rather see the second phase be low rise building (6 storeys) with retail. It would be nice to have a restaurant with patio in one of the yellow areas. We have an awesome river pathway system, but something that would make it better is a few more retail spots.
