I hear you. I’m in Toronto visiting relatives, and it’s nice to catch the big city action. Toronto seems even busier than it was 20 years ago when I last visited but tbh, I prefer Calgary’s medium action vibe. Welcome to Calgary and welcome to the forum.

My guess it’ll come in around 260 to 270 m but with the shorter tower already being taller than Brookfield Place, 300m wouldn’t exactly be a shock.

At 910 feet, they could have gone with something like 78 storeys for the taller one and 52 for the shorter one. We would’ve had Western Canada‘s first super tall. 😎 But I’m not gonna be greedy, I’ll take 910 feet anytime.

I’m sure many will disagree with me, but my own personal opinion is that 16 stories is too tall for the location. Density is great, but Marda Loop as an area, has a nice feel to it. I’d rather see something in the range of 8 to 10 stories here and at the co-op location.

Tor and Van overbuilt over the past year or so. If we look at this same chart over 2023-2025 period it’ll look quite a bit different.

I like the way the massing is broken up to make it look like separate smaller buildings.

It’s a bit overdone for my liking, but as a fan of the Skyline/GTR series, I would have no problem riding in it 😎
