I’m also a big fan of those smaller floorplate buildings. We don’t have enough of those in Calgary.

I was hoping to see the modular construction in action, but I’m out of town until the end of August. 😕 It could very well be done by then.

For the most part Alberta used to struggle when everyone was booming, but it seems to be less so as time goes on. Looking at Calgary in particular, it’s been on strong growth mode for about 20 of the past 25 years.

Fingers crossed another empty lot will disappear.

Great to see a DP and a design. Rumors of a proposal for this parcel had been discussed for a while now. Overall it’s decent, or as DiscoStu said, understated, which is fine by me.

Sadly I’m thinking the same thing. I’m good either way, they had me at getting rid of an empty lot.

I wasn’t able to snap a pic, but noticed this morning some of the equipment on site had moved around again. One of the boxes was labeled ‘Nat Gas Lines’. Maybe they are getting prepped for a start?
