The important point is SOME people in Lakeview have a problem. Not everyone. The 'Save Lakeview' folks say it's about traffic, but then they want a berm to block out the reserve, which has nothing to do with traffic. Several Save Lakeview people have joined the Lakeview Community Association...

I'm not sure. The Sarcee/Richmond interchange came after a study of that entire corridor and this was the portion that the City felt would make the greatest impact on dealing with the downstream traffic generated by the ring road. The Bow interchange was studied along with this one, and this...

It will be interesting to see how it comes together; such a beautiful location adjacent to such a huge road. I guess that will be the case all the way along the ring road, as it crosses the Weaselhead and the Fish Creek.

Perhaps surprisingly, that 'resort' area has probably the most spectacular views in the entire region. It's positioned slightly down into the Elbow valley, and when you face away from the road, all you can see is the pristine Tsuut'ina side of the Weaselhead area, the Elbow river, the hills...
