To go further off track, usually routes I look at have too many turns, but this one would be fun! MRU to a new 50th Ave station. Could likely do the trip in 20-25 minutes.

I think it would be way quicker than that. You could probably beat 20-25 minutes with a bus, if you build a bus/active mode-only bridge over the Elbow river at 50 Ave.

The answer is money saved during expropriation. Probably just should've spent the money then to save money later.

Gotta cut the city some slack. They only had since 2014 to procure the land and the Greenline was only on the books since the mid-80's.
