Same. I love the iconic shape of the building, and how it nicely compliments the skyline from certain angles, but it's an abysmal building to experience at street level, and the hot dog colour scheme of the elevators and stairwells have really not aged well.

Its time has come and gone. I'll miss its uniqueness, new arenas are indistinguishable, and while the 'dome has similar buildings to it there are not a lot of arenas out there that are like it. When you saw an exterior b-roll of the Saddledome you knew it was Calgary, Scotia Place (like its name) won't have the same effect on me. That probably has to do with the memories made in the 'dome too. If we can move on from the piss ramp, we can move on from the Saddledome too.

I recently went to a concert and had a seat that was effectively 2/3 of a seat because it was on a corner and the one beside angled directly into mine

it's an abysmal building at every level lol. Once you visit enough ballparks/stadiums/arenas, it becomes crystal clear how bad it is
