Yeah, pretty hostile streetscape for pedestrians all around
In fairness they are neighbours with Alpha House and it is situated on the biggest car sewer in the city.

I wish we had wider right-of-ways. Some of the best streets in the world are car sewers with super wide sidewalksIn fairness they are neighbours with Alpha House and it is situated on the biggest car sewer in the city.
With a drop-off lobby for both towers on 14th and 15th Ave, respectively, is it really necessary to have the parking turnout along Macleod? I already hate the turnout in front of BLVD, so I would hate for this trend to continue.
Why does it need over a year for shovels in the ground
Most of that time is needed for development approvals. 18 months seems pretty aggressive for something of this scale actually. If they can be under construction by Jan. ‘27 I’ll be thrilled.
....and more coming. There is another high profile project coming down the pipeline. With Truman projects, I assume the timing is also driven by their other projects and how they shift trades from one project to the next because they do more of the work in house than contract, that's why I've heard anyways. From a friend that works at a pretty large builder with a presence in AB but primarily in the GTA, Truman is making a bit of a name for itself with the work they're doing in Calgary!
