Ugh, they're making it a parking lot aren't they...
Oh the opportunity to have a consistent curb on 6th would be amazing. I actually ride down 6th anyways so a separate lane would be great.

Agree on 6th, goes the whole way through and would make for an easy connection to the river pathway on both ends.

Heard through the grapevine the official opening of Eau Claire Plaza is July 2nd although there may be a soft opening before that.

Canada day is usually the busiest day of the year along Prince's Island. Ideally it's open for that.

Weird. Nothing on DMAP yet. Presumably they are going to create a temporary parking lot like CalgaryTiger suggested. I could also see this site acting as a laydown yard for Marc and Mada until Boardwalk gets its own site applications in.
I like going through Eau Claire for the greenery and the vibrancy, but 6th would make passing through downtown more straight forward. Especially if you could hit the lights just right like on 12th.

I need to get to Marda Loop, been a minute and I feel like I won't even recognize the place. When I was a kid I lived in the military housing there, last PMQ I lived in was where the produce department is (I think) in the Safeway now. The sign for Mike's Auto Service used to shine in my bedroom window, drove me nuts. Such a different community now.

Marda Loop has probably transformed the most of Calgary’s destination neighborhoods. It’s been amazing to see the changes over the last 10 years.

I agree. An argument could also be made for Bridgeland, but Marda Loop has seen a lot of change over the past decade. Once all this construction is finally done it's gonna be rockin.
