IIRC there is no underground parkade for this one.

Best guess they are stacking trailers there on top of that steel frame, since there is no way they would be able to put trailers on 17th or 5th or the the lane. For sure they would have a parkade under this building.

Ask some workers on site and they said they are building a parkade and all the bracing is for the crane.

That's what I thought too. I'm curious what they would have such a shallow excavation and a crane base already if they were putting in a parkade? Maybe it's a one level pakade that's not too deep?

With only 34 units, I guess it could be one level of underground parking, in which case the crane base should be deep enough.

They likely have the ramp down into the parkade at that location where the crane is off the back lane. For this one, 1 level of parkade will provide the minimum number of spots required.

That does not make any sense to me, crane is being braced that close to its base and that extensive.

That bracing is for the shoring, it doesn't even touch the crane lol. My guess is to support the load of heavy garbage trucks and future loading right there in the lane.
