There is a lot of progress to report since we last dedicated a full-fledged story to Ezra on Riley Park, an eight-storey building rising in Calgary's Kensington community. In the nearly four months since, Forum contributor snorklepowder has provided the Forum with a deluge of on-site photos showing closeups of the construction and never-before-seen views from the two-tower concrete structures. The latest image shows the concrete pour for the seventh floor of the west tower, as crews continue to manufacture the development ahead of estimated first occupancies in the summer.

Designed by NORR Architects for Birchwood Properties, Ezra on Riley Park will hold a dynamic mix of unit types, from a 352-square-foot apartment to a 1,681-square-foot townhome, both of which are still available. Residents can expect engineered maple hardwood floors, high-gloss European-styled cabinetry, quartz kitchen counter tops, and floor-to-ceiling windows organized within an airy nine-foot-tall space.

There will be an wide variety of amenities on tap as well, including an 'Ezra Club' within the east tower that features a spacious social lounge, kitchen, two-sided fireplace, and private wine lockers. The west tower will contain a fully equipped fitness centre while both towers will be surrounded by enhanced landscaping. The rear laneway that fronts onto Riley Park will become the exclusive domain of pedestrians, with no through traffic allowed.
