Today we check in on the progress of Qualex Landmark's most recent Calgary project, Park Point. This 34-storey, 289-unit tower designed by IBI Group began construction in the fall of 2015. Since that time most of the construction has been below or at grade, but the tower is now rising above grade at approximately a floor per week and slowly making its way into the Beltline skyline.

The building, which is being constructed by Axiom Builders, has now reached 11 storeys, and is almost one third of the way to its final height. If the current pace continues, the building should reach full height in early to mid autumn.

As you can see, the building is already noticeable when looking north across Central Memorial Park. Its impact will continue to grow every week, and it will eventually become a fixture on the park's skyline backdrop.

Once completed, the building will feature 9,000 square feet of amenity space, including an outdoor zen terrace and social area, an outdoor yoga and Pilates studio, as well as a fully equipped indoor fitness area. All of these amenities will face Central Memorial Park. Residents are expected to move in during the summer of 2018, just in time to watch the Stampede fireworks.
