After a worryingly slow start, construction of The Royal is now moving at a good clip, with some parts of the site nearing the surface. The 34-storey residential tower will contain a Canadian Tire and Urban Fare at ground-level, adding to the Beltline's array of human-scaled retailers. In today's Daily Photo, Forum contributor Surrealplaces recently captured the site's complex maze of concrete, steel and formwork.
